BalanceShield is an optional program that provides protection for you, your family and your credit history by paying your minimum monthly payment for up to 12 months should the unexpected happen. For only 85 cents per $100 of your month ending balance, BalanceShield protects you if and when the following events occur:

• Involuntary Unemployment - for 30 days or more
• Hospitalization - for two or more nights
• Disability - for 30 days or more
• Nursing Home Care - for two or more nights
• Leave of Absence - for 30 days or more
• Loss of Life - cancel your outstanding account balance
